Strategy and Philosophy
Aim to understand the ask first. What is the purpose of this project? Who are the users? What journey does this fit into? How does this align with the big picture?
Create a thorough, yet iterative, research plan. What tools at my disposal will get me closer to understanding? The research plan should primarily be aimed at understanding the problem. The solution will naturally flow.
Execute the plan and document findings. What do I need to get the work done? Who on the team has the best skills and capacity to work towards this goal? How will I store the findings for this purpose along with accessibility for future projects that can be informed from this research?
Deliver actionable insights. What do the stakeholders need to know? How can I communicate the findings concisely and defendable?
